Our Spiced Rum is called Bellamy, named after a pirate, Captain Samuel Bellamy (c. February 23, 1689 – April 26, 1717), better known as "Black Sam" Bellamy, was an English pirate who operated in the early 18th century. Though his known career as a pirate captain lasted little more than a year, he and his crew captured at least 53 ships under his command – making him the wealthiest pirate in recorded history – before his death at age 28. Leaving his wife and child in England, he traveled to Cape Cod to seek his fortune plundering the high seas.
We have created a rum worthy of his fiery. Bellamy Rum is made by combining yeasts, molasses, water and mash, which are then distilled in a traditional pot still. The rum is aged for up to 1 year followed by the addition of spices and flavors, banana, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and sugar. Flavors Indigenous to the Caribbean Islands.
